This design is inspired by and celebrates the work of Oscar Hammerstein, specifically the Musical Oklahoma! Which he wrote at his Highland Farm house in Doylestown Bucks County, (took inspiration from its surroundings). Both of the our Doylestown! Designs reflects on the “poetics simplicity” and the promising optimism found in Hammerstein’s work. Oklahoma! Is considered “one of the most influential musicals ever” and has revolutionized American theater as we know it.
